We started out providing transportation brokerage (logistics) services in 1988 and expanded to include asset-based trucking services under our J&H Trucking arm in 1996. Today, we proudly support a carrier fleet of 100 power units and over 160 trailers, including dry vans, refrigerated vans, and flatbed trucks, and we work with a vetted network of verified owner operators to deliver the outstanding service our clients expect.
We ensure safety by hiring drivers with a minimum of 2 years of OTR experience, with proven work history, a clean MVR, and no drug/alcohol violations. We also equip our trucks with cameras and electronic logs for security and oversight. In addition, we continually monitor drivers and operations to ensure compliance with federal standards and our own stringent safety policies. We proudly maintain our status as an active member of the Kansas Trucking Association, including board positions, and we participate in Driver of the Year competitions.
